"Have you read the Inkheart trilogy and did you like it? could you recommend some YA? ;D like HP/Hunger Games/Gone Series? I want to buy some new books but I haven't found anything interesting."
I’ve read Inkheart trilogy years ago and I like it :) Not as much as the ones in the fantasy list but still good.
I haven’t read Gone yet but I’ve heard good things.
I love fantasy more than dystopia/scifi because sometimes the stories/concept sound the same. But here are some that I’ve read:
"Hi, could you recommend some fantasy-adventure books?"
Here are some of my favorites:
"This is more of a story than a confession. I still have my first copy of Harry Potter. Its missing the cover and the pages up until the first and last of the actual story and its held together with tape because it's so old but it's still my most prized object because it's had more effect on my life than anything else. I would be a completely different person if I haven't picked up that book when I was 6."
This is what mine looks like: cracked spine, folded edges, yellowing pages. It’s the oldest book in my collection (13 years) since like Rebecca (if you know her story), I had the heartbreaking task of choosing which books to bring with me when I moved to Canada, so most of my books got left behind. :(
I bought hardcover versions of HP 1-4 so they will match with the last 3 books (my PoA and GoF were from a different publisher and had a different size) but I will never give these two away. NEVER.
SEND ME A BOOK/CHARACTER CONFESSION
This is the last confession of the night. It’s already 1am.
withhernosestuckinabook replied to your post: You’ve read the Books of Pellinor? I was just…
seeing as you are talking about your favourite books, can you tell us some of your favourites? so i can buy them of course :D
OH NO. This is going to be hard and will take forever to make but since it’s you Fatima I shall do it :) Might as well link it to a page so that I won’t have to do this again.
These are my absolute favorites in no particular order (most of them are series so I linked it to their first books):
"Hellooo :) I am a high school student and I love to read, but unfortunately, one of the downfalls of reading A LOT is that I wind up reading quite a few books that I can't say were great, or amazing, or really moving. I'm in a bit of a rut right now. I've read a string of okay books, but I am looking for something that will really wow me. Any ideas? Thank you so much! (And maybe something exciting or enthralling, too. A mystery? Just not too sad, please.)"
- Lumatere Chronicles by Melina Marchetta (I’m rereading this right now)
- Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness (also reading)
- Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier
- Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
- Tiger Saga by Colleen Houck
- Maze Runner by James Dashner
- Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix
- The Last Survivors by Susan Beth Pfeffer
- Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale
- Eon by Alison Goodman
- Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams-Chima
- Graceling by Kristin Cashore (I thought I included that but I forgot - thanks lizziedarcys!)
Give us more recommendations please :D
